Memory's of Helen Bangs and taking the Mind Psi Biotics class

When reading any memory of Helen Bangs, Founder of Mind Psi-Biotics it should be qualified that they are my perceptions and colored by my unique perspective of this world. your recollections will differ with your own unique views.
It was a typically warm Monday in July, summer 1975 evening in Anaheim as 88 people from different walks of life were sitting in an air conditioned second story meeting room where we had just been greeted and name tagged by an imposing red haired woman who now stood before us in fitting evening dress on a raised stage in front of a chalk board sectioned into colors black, green, red and blue. We would soon be learning new significance to what such colors can mean. She was assisted by her daughter and a young slender man, Randy Walker.
At a much later date it was Randy who gave me the name of my e-mail address. When I had assisted in "graduating" others, he said, "Now, you are One" Since I started on the internet, iamone seemed perfect as an ID.
As a child I had asked rude questions in Sunday School and by age 15 was thoroughly disgusted with conventional religions. By age 18 I had written as school papers investigations of the major religions of the world and another on Hasidic or mystical Judaism. I soaked up books on Buddhism and Zen, had tried to meditate into altered states. I knew there was more and did not know how to get there. So when Helen started quoting Jesus and explaining in ways not taught in organized religion, I finally found some sense made of biblical teachings. Today there are schools of Huna that say Max F. Long corrupted Huna by comparing it to what Jesus taught. To me Helen made relative through cultural familiarity, the commonality of spiritual teachings that otherwise were completely of a foreign, in this case Hawaiian, way of life. She made me look at what is by having me leave my prejudices at the door and seeing what is and what works the way we really are instead of through the distorted filters of those who seek to mystify spirituality and thereby control the masses who also know there is more and also do not know how to find it. Those who want spiritual freedom. Helen said man will either learn to control his spiritual nature or become its victim.
During our week of evening meetings the 88 of us, students, professionals, and mostly working class folks learned much about who we really are, who our Aumakua are and what our Unihipili are and how they are designed to work in unseen. I had no idea I could identify and work on the heart condition of a woman living in New York at the time, but I did it. I never knew why I tended to gain weight in Summer and lose it in winter, or why I had a craving for salmon since childhood until I learned brown bears do that too. And I won't tell you the names of my male and female spiritual "Guides", but I met them that Thursday night during the "theta" class. (I use the names as parts of electronic passwords now) I remember Helen saying when she first met her male Counselor he was wearing a silver jumpsuit and she said, "O my god, he's gay!" She also used the three level scheme of our make up to explain how homosexuality happens better than I have ever heard it otherwise.
During the years after that followed Helen began teaching children separately as they learn faster. She had the most trouble with MD's as they tend to confuse themselves with GOD and were disruptive in class.
Helen went to Chicago, Dallas, many California cities, and Oahu, Hawaii. She talked about Oahu and how different and quiet the audience was to begin with. She noticed three elderly ladies sitting in front. They kept looking at each other and nodding. Helen felt threatened and wondered at how quiet people were. Then at the break or the end of her "free" lecture the three women came up to her and said they had a vision of going up a stairway to a door. Finally the door opened and their Aumakua said a red haired witch who will give you back your heritage is coming. They had studied her and decided it was her who had been foretold. All went well after that.
While teaching the daytime children's class Helen began having a vision. She repeatedly saw black haired and mustached men shooting fire into tall inner city buildings and destroying them. She told us she did not know when it would come but that it was already inevitable, that America had gone away from its spiritual destiny and would no longer be protected from war on our shores. She did not intend to be teaching other's children when it came and we should all leave the inner city areas because our government was allowing the destroyers to come in through our borders.
Soon she married Roy Weygand with a military security background and moved to Tehachapi by Bakersfield. I took a couple of people there to weekend seminars before moving myself to the foothills of the Sierra in Northern California, a rural area.
She came here to see what I had done in about 1991 or 1992. It is the last time I have seen her. I still practice Ha Rite as she taught it and use Huna as the basis of how I live my life: To live the hurt less and helpful life.
